Below is an article found on CNN.com regarding Barack Obama's childish response to John McCains "celebrity" ad. Was a response really necessary? McCain's ad has received so much free airplay on all the talk shows that the ad has been seen by far more people that even McCain anticipated. Obama's childish tit-for-tat response just keeps McCain's ad in the limelight. Let it go! Ignore it and move on.
What's next? Some foreign leader in our global playground calls Obama a "dopey smelly dork head" and Obama responds with "I know you are but what am I?"

Obama campaign retaliates for McCain celebrity ads

From CNN Deputy Political Director Paul Steinhauser
Barack Obama is out with a new ad that says John McCain
is Washington's biggest celebrity.
WASHINGTON (CNN) — The battle over who's a celebrity continues.
Barack Obama's campaign fired back today, releasing a campaign commercial that suggests Republican presumptive
presidential nominee John McCain is a celebrity.
The ad starts by saying that "for decades, he's been
Washington's biggest celebrity. And as Washington embraced him, John McCain hugged right back."
The commercial concludes by saying that the senator from Arizona is "a Washington celebrity playing the same old Washington games."
The commercial appears to be a response to a number of ads
that the McCain campaign released over the past two weeks that suggest that Barack Obama is a celebrity and not ready for the White House.
The Obama campaign says its new ad, titled "Embrace," will run in some of the battleground states in which the McCain commercials that ridicule Obama's celebrity are currently airing.
