3-D: Lucas versus Cameron
Not being one to miss an opportunity to re-sell the same movie multiple times George Lucas is now going to re-release ALL of the Star Wars movies in 3-D starting in 2012.
In order for director James Cameron to keep up with George Lucas I've found a solution. Since Lucas is going to convert all six Star Wars movies to 3-D, Cameron can do one better. He can turn "Titanic" into a trilogy AND make them in 3-D. First, convert "Titanic" into a 3-D movie. Next, he needs a sequel. How about "Titanic 2: Escape from Atlantis"? The survivors find themselves in the undersea Utopia of Atlantis. Only, as they slowly find out, it's no Utopia. In order to keep their underground world from becoming like the aboveground world they have a gruesome form of population control.
And for the third installment of the Titanic Trilogy -> "Titanic 3-D: Battle for the Planet of the Apes". The surviving survivors return to the aboveground world only to be caught in the crossfire between the Apes that have taken over the planet and Avatars that have arrived to seek revenge on the Earthlings.
Well, there may have been some mixed marriages between the Apes and Avatars to complicate matters. However, this can lead right into the Avatar Trilogy (he will need six movies to keep up with Lucas anyway).
